Desk Lamps
I know you're probably thinking, what on earth does this have to do with summer? Well, truth be told, the lamps themselves have nothing to do with summer. I love to read and summer with its long hours give me the time that sometimes winter doesn't have the time to spare. I share a room with my brother, who hates when I have the lights on after he goes to sleep (doesn't help that he sleeps way too early!), so desk lamp to the rescue! I put my desk lamp on the lowest setting so I can enjoy my nightly dose of reading/writing/creative time. I also love how desk lamps are now available in so many different shapes, sizes, colors, and styles that you can get one to suit your personality!
Waffle Fries
Everyone loves, I mean LOVES fries. At least, everybody I know does. The classic cut fries are nice, but I prefer something with a little more texture. And that's where waffle fries come in. They have an awesome shape and often have more seasoning than standard fries. Sharing a basket with friends on a balmy afternoon is a summer must!
Milk Shakes
I really dislike the heat, but one thing I do love is all the wonderful "cool" foods we get to eat during the summer season. A milk shake is a must on those sweltering days where you can simply put a egg on a car hood and it'll cook! And unlike back in the day, you get so many different kinds of milk shakes now. Peppermint, pumpkin, cookies n creme, dark chocolate, orange, and so many other crazy flavors. Though, when it comes to milk shakes, I like to stick to the classics. A old-fashioned chocolate milk shake is my best friend!
Wedge Flip Flops
Summer's not the type for closed shoes, at least not in my book. I love the causal ease of flip flops, but often find them a little too causal for going out. (I'm a person you tends to dress more semi-casual/semi-formal when going out.) So for me, the solution is wedge flip flops the comfort and ease of flip flops with the style and fashion of a wedge sandal. The great thing with them is that they come in so many varieties now, super causal, causal, semi formal, and even formal ones!
Coppertone Oil Free Sunscreen
Sunscreen and I are not friends, I hated wearing it, it left my skin feeling oily and often looked a sickly white for a long while after application. And soon after wards, I swore off it. I honestly went a good three years without it and since I anyways avoid the sun It wasn't the worst of ideas. But I came across Coppertone's Oil Free Sunscreen and gave it a try. And surprising it actually is Oil-Free. And no more white patches!!! So, when I know I'll be spending time at the beach or anywhere outdoors during sunny days. I use Coppertone's Oil-Free Sunscreen.
