The chambray shirt is a great versatile piece to have in your closet. It can be wore in so many different ways and it comes in various colors as well. One of my favorite ways to wear a chambray shirt is unbuttoned like a jacket. For someone like me, who has broader shoulders, this is a perfect way to get the denim jacket look without the strong emphasis on the shoulders. Another favorite of mine, is the sleeveless chambray shirt. This serves as a vest buttoned or unbuttoned over tunics, t-shirts, and dresses.
When skinny jeans first came in, I wasn't impressed. To be honest, I wasn't half as "fashion conscious" then as I am now. But about two years ago, I bought a pair and it's been smooth sailing ever since. Skinny jeans are now my go to for most outfits.
My absolute favorite thing about skinny jeans has to be the fact that they are so easy to pair with any type of shoe. Since they stop at the ankle, they're perfect for flats and for tucking into boots! Skinny jeans are also more casual, which is great for school, running errands, and just everyday life.
What are your thoughts on skinny jeans?
Sorry for the delay, it's been a tad hectic lately.
Anyways, one of my absolute favorite things about summer is the abundance of fruits that is available. The fresh flavors are definitely a plus in these warm months. My mom always puts together these fruit platters in the evenings for the family to sit and share. The fruits serve as a wonderful late time snack that is (of course) very healthy as well as delicious.
Are summer fruits something you enjoy?
Hope you all are having a wonderful 4th of July! We're hosting a dinner party tomorrow, so preparing for that along with all my usual summer activities so to speak. Things have calmed down since school ended two weeks ago. But come August, it's senior year!!! My last year of high school is nearing and I just can't believe it. Anyways, hope you all have a great weekend and I'll see you guys back on Monday!
What are your plans for the 4th? Let me know in your comments!
There is nothing greater than being able to walk through your back door and pick some delicious fresh fruit. It's a thrill, a joy, and a blessing, one that I appreciate more than ever before. These peaches were a great welcome present from nature this summer! The flavor is amazing and the freshness of the fruit is nothing like what you get at the stores.
Hope you all are having a wonderful summer! Are any of you into gardening? If so, do you like planting flowers, fruits, or vegetables the best?
So, there's really not much to tell. I'm a person of many interests, and enjoy talking to others about theirs.
